About DRDC
The Data Research and Development Center (DRDC) is a research and technical center funded by the U.S. Federal Government’s Interagency Education Research Initiative (IERI). As a research center, we work to understand the factors that are essential for scaling up promising educational models, programs, and strategies. As a technical center, we work with IERI researchers across the country to identify – and develop plans to address – the methodological and other challenges that arise when conducting research on scaling.
DRDC is located at the Hyde Park, Chicago offices of NORC, a national organization for research at the University of Chicago. DRDC is directed by senior members of the University’s research community; our staff and research associates are affiliated with a number of the University’s schools and academic departments.
