Over 200 senior researchers across the United States have been supported by the Interagency Education Research Initiative (IERI) to learn the conditions under which exemplary educational interventions improve student learning outcomes in reading, mathematics, and science. The IERI Research Community zone on this website is designed to introduce you to their projects and their findings. You can also click on the brochure to the right to get Just the Facts.

If you are already a member of the IERI community, this is your portal to an extranet of information and resources about and from your IERI colleagues.

The Data Research and Development Center (DRDC) is a research and technical center funded by the U.S. Federal Government’s Interagency Education Research Initiative. As a research center, we work to understand the factors that are essential for scaling-up promising educational models, programs, and strategies. As a technical center, we work to identify – and develop plans to address – the methodological and other challenges that arise when conducting research on scaling.
